Some tips from your friendly Neighborhood Healer-man!

I know how hard it can be to find a healer some days. So, here are a few tips to make sure us that play healers keep playing healers for you.

  1. Stop standing in things, all our spells have a cast time and duration. IE: If I am in the middle of a DPS spell, and you’re standing in say ICE or FIRE and you do not scoot out, my DPS spell must finish it’s cast and then there is a 3 second-ish cast time on said healing spell. I have seen many melee rush in at start stand in ice and expect the healer to keep them alive.
  2. Use your seeds for HP/DEF/Guard if nothing else. When you increase your base stats you live longer and we can heal better.
  3. Make sure you bring a healer in every run, you can’t outsmart stupid but you can help eliminate some of the issues if you have a healer, to begin with. I started playing a healer after all DPS/Tank runs would wipe and then expect the host to spend 100 gems on revives. Later in ranks, it is better to just use 100 gems on energy for more runs than reviving people that didn’t manually play hard missions.
  4. This is for us healers, don’t auto fights. The AI prioritizes DPS overhealing unless a character is under half health, which at that point is playing with fire when some units have less than 8k HP and some bosses hit for 4500.
  5. Under no circumstances run the boss/mobs into the healer. When we move we lose our AP, A.K.A we can’t heal till we stop, as well as we have to be 5 game meters from the enemies we are engaged in for our healing spells to function. So you dragging a boss into us, does nothing. Not to mention, we have low health ourselves and can get pretty sticky quickly.
