Fortnite wraps, or weapon skins, can enhance an already excellent weapon and turn it into an art piece. Like the best character outfits and other accessories in the game, the best Fortnite wraps are a matter of opinion, but having seen them all and used many of them ourselves, we tend to skew in favor of the really elaborate or iconic wraps. Here are our picks for Fortnite’s best wraps.

Sap

With this wrap, I am Groot.

Sap is the instantly recognizable wrap that came with Groot during the all-Marvel Chapter 2, Season 4. But even if you’re not a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot’s wrap is great because it reimagines any of your metallic firearms as something resembling a wooden carving.

Cozy Holidays

Keep the change, ya filthy animal.

Cozy Holidays is best used during the winter when Christmas is near, but when that time is right, it’s the best Christmas wrap released so far. It perfectly captures the look of a wrapped present, which is exactly what you intend to deliver to your opponents, right? Jingle all the way to victory.

Blasted

Volume 1, Issue 1: You lose.

Part of battle pass character TNTina’s Short Fuse set in Chapter 2, Season 2, the Blasted wrap is awesome because of its comic book stylings. Few wraps have even been given this cel-shaded look and none are more vibrant in your hands. It’s also very versatile as the solid red color goes great with a huge number of skins and sets.

Cubed

Kevin is back and this time he’s decorating your weapons.

The newest skin on this list, Cubed is an instant favorite because of its animated mini-Kevins floating from barrel to stock whenever you use this skin. It commemorates Season 8, but also the years-long mystery of these strange cubes. One day we’ll get answers, but for now, we have a fancy wrap.

Pancake Posse

Maple madness ensues.

Mancake’s cosmetics come up a lot in our Best Of Fortnite lists, but can you blame us? Just look at the syrup dripping off this wrap. As if that isn’t cool enough, the animated wrap looks even better on characters with wrappable clothing. Who among us can say they have never stumbled around town drenched in maple syrup?

Wrainbow Wrap

Suddenly I want some Unicorn Flakes.

Fabio Sparklemane, the dancing unicorn/cereal mascot, is one of Fortnite’s all-time most absurd characters, and he’s got the wrap to match. His Wrainbow Wrap resembles a spill in the Barbie aisle at Target, and it’s totally befitting of his over-the-top lifestyle. Glitter, rainbows, twinkling accents–it’s the epitome of sugar-coated cereals masquerading as breakfast.

Verdant Vascularity

Marvel by design, Pixar by accident.

No disrespect to She-Hulk (or The Hulk for that matter), as I’m sure this wrap is very much appreciated by their fans. But to me, when I see Verdant Vascularity, I think of a different fictional hero: Buzz Lightyear. It makes me hope for a Toy Story crossover one day. But at least until that unlikely day, we can borrow She-Hulk’s purple and green wrap and fly fall with style.

Ferocious

Slash, gash, and dash across the island like the grumpy hero.

The Ferocious wrap is so blatantly belonging to Marvel’s Wolverine that it really needs no introduction, so instead, we’ll just ogle over it. Look at those claw marks, that color scheme–so nostalgic, isn’t it? Yeah, Wolverine is cool, isn’t he, bub? Now how about a Hugh Jackman version of the hero?

Acolyte’s Curse

Raz, you really blew it this time.

Like the Cubed wrap, the Acolyte’s Curse wrap is the embodiment of a season-long story in a few feet of firearms artwork. Season 6 focused heavily on hunting, as expressed with the taped-up “Primal” stock at the back of this wrap. It also became a pivotal moment in Fortnite lore when Raz the thief accidentally signaled the alien invasion, which is what the front of this uniquely animated wrap captures with its alien language.
