Rockstar might not be releasing GTA 6 anytime soon, but the studio is re-releasing GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas next week through the GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
Rockstar has now announced the pre-loading details for the compilation package, and you can see all the important specifics below. Pre-loading has actually already begun on some systems.

November 5
- Pre-loading is now available on Xbox and Switch.
November 6
- Pre-loading for PlayStation starts at 12 AM local time in your region.
Rockstar did not mention anything about pre-loading on PC. Additionally, the file size details for the compilation package have not been announced.
As for when GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition unlocks on November 11, Rockstar confirmed the game will become playable that day at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. A physical version of the game is launching on December 7 for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, but not PS5.
A standalone version of GTA: San Andreas is also coming to Xbox Game Pass on November 11, while GTA III will be added to PlayStation Now on December 7.
Rockstar also reminded people that everyone who buys GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition from the Rockstar Store will receive a code for $10 off any product valued at $15 or more.

In other news, Take-Two recently confirmed that it has 62 games in the works coming by March 2024, though whether or not GTA 6 is one of these remains to be seen. According to a report, if the GTA re-releases perform well, Rockstar might remaster Red Dead Redemption next. Take-Two’s Karl Slatoff recently outlined Take-Two’s position on remasters, saying it’s all about the money.
