A new trailer for Stranger Things Season 4 has been released. The teaser has been revealed as part of Netflix’s Stranger Things Day event.
The trailer focuses on Eleven and the Byers family who have moved to California to start new lives. We see Will painting, Jonathan smoking weed, and Eleven trying to fit in at her new school. There’s a voiceover in the form of a letter from Eleven to Mike, who remains in Hawkins, in which Eleven talks about the upcoming Spring Break as potentially “the best ever.” However, the final section of the teaser reveals that this might not be the case–it’s a quickly cut montage packed with car chases, explosions, gunfire, and general mayhem. Check it out below:
All the main Stranger Things cast are back for Season 4, including Millie Bobbie Brown as Eleven, David Harbour as Hopper, Winona Ryder as Joyce, Finn Wolfhard as Mike, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan, Noah Schnapp as Will, and Sadie Sink as Max.
This latest Stranger Things Season 4 teaser follows the first trailer, which arrived in September. But despite the release of these first two trailers, we still don’t know too much about what the plot will involve. One new character is Victor Creel, played by Nightmare on Elm Street icon Robert Englund, a sinister character who has been locked in a psychiatric hospital since the 1950s. In addition, we know Hopper is alive but seemingly locked up in a Russian prison.
Stranger Things Season 4 will hit Netflix in 2022.
