Blizzard has released the PTR patch notes for Warcraft 3: Reforged update 1.33.0, which allows players to try out Ranked Play, two years after the game’s launch.

In a new blog post, Blizzard provided some new information for players of the strategy game and confirmed that brand-new features will arrive with the next PTR update. “It’s been some time since we’ve provided an update on Warcraft 3: Reforged,” the publisher said. “Many of you have asked for us to support some of the features which were a part of the original Warcraft III experience.”

Alongside Ranked Play, players can also expect the patch to focus on Player Profiles and Leaderboards, as well as a few additional updates including numerous adjustments to the game’s campaign and its maps.

The publisher also added that it will continue to work on “delivering multiple updates this year” but would rather show players than tell them. It also said that it plans on testing the new version for around 2-3 weeks to gather data. You can check out the patch notes below.

Warcraft 3: Reforged launched in 2020 to a poor reception, with later reports revealing missing features and alleged mismanagement of the project. After more than a year of radio silence from Blizzard regarding future updates, last month it addressed its fans and confirmed news would be coming in June–referring to the latest PTR update.

Activision Blizzard has also been swept up in a series of allegations of misconduct in the workplace, resulting in two separate lawsuits and a company-wide investigation.
