The Xbox wireless controller isn’t just a superb peripheral with improved ergonomic design, it’s also a great canvas for people to express their artistic side with. One master of this craft is PopeArt, whose latest Xbox wireless controller project has seen the artist apply a Sea of Thieves theme to the device. The end result looks rather stunning:

This isn’t the first time that PopeArt has worked their magic, as you can find Xbox controllers decked out in Gears of War, Iron Man, and GFuel colors. The controller that captures the creepy magic of next year’s Destiny 2 expansion, The Witch Queen, is particularly good and you can see more examples on PopeArt’s Instagram account.
If you’re not feeling adventurous enough to point an airbrush gun at your controller but you still want an Xbox controller that features a unique design, there are options. The Xbox Forza Horizon 5 and 20th Anniversary controllers look fantastic, while the Xbox Design Labs website will give you more control over which colors you’d like to see one everything from the controller shell to the analog thumbsticks.
In other Sea of Thieves news, Season 5 of the game has kicked off this week. This latest season has major quality-of-life updates and fan-requested features being added to the game, as well as a new Plunder Pass, a new type of mission, and a focus on deepening the pirate role-playing experience.
