In July, Bob Odenkirk collapsed on the set of AMC’s Better Call Saul and was rushed to the hospital. He later confirmed he suffered a heart attack. Now, the 58-year-old actor had provided an update on his condition, and it sounds like good news. Posting on Twitter, Odenkirk said, “I am doing great.”

“I’ve had my very own ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ week of people insisting I make the world slightly better. Wow! Thank you, I love everyone right now but let’s keep expectations reasonable!” he said.

Odenkirk previously confirmed that he had a “small heart attack.” Thanks to the efforts of doctors, the blockage was fixed without surgery, and he expects to recover soon.

Odenkirk plays the title character Jimmy McGill, aka “Saul Goodman,” in Better Call Saul, a spin-off of Breaking Bad. The 13-episode sixth and final season is currently slated to release in early 2022, though whether or not the schedule changes due to Odenkirk’s health is unknown

In addition to his acting career, Odenkirk is writing a memoir that will dig into his long career in entertainment. Odenkirk recently starred in the action movie Nobody and received praise for his performance. Odenkirk was nominated multiple times for an Emmy for his character Saul Goodman.
