Activision has announced double XP weekend events for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone spanning this weekend and next.
The double XP event is what the company calls triple-double XP because the double XP applies to standard progression, weapon progression, and the battle pass. The double XP periods take place October 22-25 and October 29-November 1.
Black Ops Cold War developer Treyarch said the promotion is running in part to celebrate the studio’s 25th anniversary and to mark the launch of the Haunting Halloween event.

The next Call of Duty game is Call of Duty: Vanguard, which launches on November 5. It’s developed by Sledgehammer Games, with Treyarch handling the new Zombies mode. Beyond that, 2022’s Call of Duty game is rumored to be a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare that focuses on Colombian drug cartels.
