Call of Duty: Warzone is headed to the Pacific on December 8 with Vanguard’s Season 1, and Activision has dropped a new trailer to showcase some points of interest for the new Caldera map.
Themed as a travel ad, the trailer shows several close-ups of Caldera locations that players will be able to visit, including beautiful waterfalls, caves to explore, farmland, and the map’s volcano. Of course, the travel ad comes complete with a warning that this fictional travel airline is not responsible for any deaths or parachute-related accidents.

Additionally, Activision has now revealed the map and listed off its 15 main points of interest. The map reveal also confirms that Warzone Pacific will take players back to 1944 to fit the time period with the Vanguard integration.
Call of Duty Season 1 was scheduled to arrive on December 1 before Activision delayed it to December 8. Everyone who owns Vanguard will still get a 24-hour head start to play Warzone’s new Caldera map, while everyone else can start playing the new Caldera map on December 9. For those who don’t own Vanguard, Warzone’s smaller Rebirth Island map will still be available to play.
Players can currently experience a series of events in Warzone to bid farewell to the Verdansk map. There’s a nostalgic Operation: Flashback limited-time mode and the Secrets of the Pacific event that are live in Warzone now, and the Last Hours of Verdansk will arrive on November 30 as a grand finale event to show players what happens to the map leading up to Vanguard’s integration.
This Call of Duty content is scheduled to continue as Activision Blizzard faces lawsuits and other investigations related to alleged sexual harassment and discrimination against women. Most recently, Kotick reportedly said he will consider stepping down from Activision Blizzard if issues aren’t fixed quickly.
