Forspoken isn't just a good-looking RPG, but one that will get you stuck into its action very quickly.

These announcements were the highlight of PlayStation's latest State Of Play.

The game was previously scheduled to launch in May.

Forspoken seems to be a call back to '90s and early 2000s isekai stories, back when the Japanese genre more regularly featured female protagonists.

Expect more details on Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin at this year's Tokyo Game Show, as well as Forspoken and the recently announced Chocobo GP.

A new trailer for Forspoken shown at the September PlayStation Showcase introduced us to our fish-out-of-water heroine, and showed our first look at the magical combat.
