During The Witch Queen showcase, Bungie displayed the Bungie 30th Anniversary Celebration for Destiny 2 that will bring new in-game content and rewards. The star of this segment was the debut of Gjallarhorn, the beloved Destiny 1 Exotic rocket launcher that comes in the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. It’s updated to fit into the Destiny 2 sandbox and players can strengthen it with its Exotic catalyst.

Players will need to purchase the 30th Anniversary Pack to unlock the Gjallarhorn quest and to access other activities. Purchasing the Anniversary Pack opens up plenty of other treasures to earn, such as the new Thorn armor set rewarded in the brand new pirate-themed dungeon. This upcoming three-player dungeon is inspired by the infamous loot cave from Destiny 1, located in the Cosmodrome. While not much detail was given about this dungeon, the image on Bungie’s website reveals Xur’s reflection.

The Anniversary Pack also contains popular Destiny 1 Legendary weapons such as the Eyasluna hand cannon and 1000-Yard Stare sniper rifle. Additionally, there will also be a shotgun and Claymore sword inspired by Bungie games from the 90’s such as Marathon and Myth. Players can also get the Marathon and Bungie Anniversary streetwear-inspired ornament sets. Additional rewards include an Exotic sparrow, Exotic ship, emblems, shaders, Ghost shells, four new emotes, and helmet ornaments.

Lastly, Bungie mentioned that it will have a free six-player matchmade activity filled with secrets and collectible rewards during the Anniversary celebration. The activity is called Dares of Eternity and will most likely deal with The Nine, based on the symbols seen in the Bungie showcase.

Bungie’s 30th Anniversary event starts on December 7.
