Netflix is unveiling all of the new movies coming to the streaming service for the rest of 2022 in a new video. One of the films in the showcase is none other Rian Johnson’s Knives Out 2.
The three-minute video features a very brief clip from the upcoming movie–which does not have a release date as if this writing. The film features Daniel Craig reprising his role of detective Benoit Blanc, as he heads to Greece to solve a brand-new mystery.
Knives Out 2 also stars Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline. Many of the cast can be seen in the 10-second clip. The footage from Knives Out 2 begins at the 2 minute and 33 second mark of the video, which you can see below.
Additionally, other highly-anticipated movies are also featured from filmmakers such as Judd Apatow, Paul Fieg, Tyler Perry, the Russos, and more. One of the clips featured was from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio. Last month, the first teaser for the film debut, which stars Ewan McGregor (Birds of Prey) as Cricket, David Bradley (The World’s End) as Geppetto, and Gregory Mann as Pinocchio.
There is also new footage from Enola Holmes 2, which was announced last year. Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will both reprise their roles for the new film.
There’s a lot more coming down the line, outside of these announcements. Netflix has already begun production on Witcher Season 3. There is also a live-action He-Man series on the way–making it the third Masters of the Universe production for the streaming service–and Kyle Allen has just been cast as the lead role. On February 18, there is a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie coming, and Netflix just released the first trailer for it.
