Netflix has released a trailer for Choose or Die. The horror movie will hit the streaming service on April 15.

Choose or Die looks to be another worthy entry in the enduring “this videogame is real, and that is having some bad consequences” genre. Per the official synopsis: “After firing up a lost ’80s survival horror game, a young coder unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing her to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences.” The coder goes along with this due to her tremendous financial need, as the winner will be awarded $125,000–and as another character in the trailer explains, “There are a ton of unclaimed prizes from retro games.”

Choose or Die stars Asa Butterfield (Sex Education), Iola Evans (The 100), Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan), Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare on Elm Street films), Kate Fleetwood (The Wheel of Time), Ryan Gage (Alfrid Lickspittle in The Hobbit films), Angela Griffin (Midsomer Murders), and Joe Bolland (Martyrs Lane). The movie is written by Simon Allen (The Watch) and directed by Toby Meakins in his debut.
