Netflix has finally offered a first look at the highly-anticipated Season 4 of Ozark, the high-octane crime drama. Netflix revealed this clip as part of Tudum, its streaming virtual fan event.

With Seasons 1-3, the Netflix original series consisted of 10 episodes per season. This final season will be expanded compared to previous installments, consisting of four more episodes than previously expected. Season 4 will also be split into two parts, with each one consisting of seven episodes. Unfortunately, that–plus the pandemic–has meant a whole lot of waiting for fans to see what’s in store for this 14-episode final season. Finally, during Tudum, we now see for ourselves that the wait was more than worth it. Star Jason Bateman confirmed, before introducing a clip that’s a “little strange,” that they are currently filming the final season and it will hit Netflix sometime in 2022. In the sneak peek clip, Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney) are cleaning blood out of their hair in a mysterious mansion, implying that even more bodies are going to fall in the super-sized final season.

Ozark follows the Byrde family from the Chicago suburbs to Missouri, where they go to set up a money laundering operation after another scheme with a Mexican drug cartel goes wrong. However, upon setting up in the Lake of the Ozarks region, the family finds themselves dealing with local criminals. The series stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, and others.

Season 3 of Ozark debuted in March 2020. But the beginning of the end for the Byrde family is, thankfully, right around the corner with both parts of Season 4 airing sometime in 2022.
