The Pokémon Company has announced that Nintendo Switch remakes for the Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl games will be released in late 2021!
The big announcement was made during a Pokémon Presents presentation as part of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary events. First released for the Nintendo DS in 2006, the two games will be remade under the titles Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.
The official website promises fans a faithful reproduction of the Sinnoh region and its adventures, including starter Pokémon Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, as well as legendaries Dialga ( Diamond ) and Palkia ( Pearl ).
Dialga is spoken of in legend. Palkia has the ability to distort space.

In addition to the remakes, a “Sinnoh pre-make” game titled Pokémon Legends: Arceus was also announced, giving players a different take on the region in the form of an open world-style RPG.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are slated for release on Nintendo Switch in late 2021.
