PUBG New State, the new battle royale game for mobile, will be released on November 11, Krafton has announced. It’ll be out that day on iOS and Android in more than 200 countries.

A final technical test is slated for October 29-30. Krafton announced the release date as pat of an online showcase this week during which the studio also promise PUBG: New State would have a “strong and consistent pipeline of new content, global service support, and anti-cheat measures.”

Set in the year 2051, PUBG New State is described as a “full, uncompromised battle royale game” and one of the “most realistic and technically advanced mobile games to date.”

“PUBG: New State inherits the core of the PUBG IP and will have a competitiveness in and of itself on the global market,” Krafton CEO CH Kim said. “Krafton will continue to produce games that will be enjoyed by players across the world. We’re committed to offering an expanded experience based on the belief that games will become the most powerful type of media.”

PUBG: New State will have four distinct maps at launch, including the game’s original environment, Erangel. Players can expect regular updates with new content over time.

Krafton also discussed the game’s anti-cheat measures. The game bans “unauthorized program, emulators, keyboard and mouse, and actively detect and restrict hacks to prevent cheating and protect the game’s code.”

PUBG: New State launches in November behind a lot of hype and anticipation, as the game has already received more than 50 million pre-registrations, Krafton said.
