To celebrate the release of Teamfight Tacticts’ latest Dragonlands set, Riot Games has released a brand-new cinematic trailer featuring the most adorable cast of characters.
The Dragonlands launch trailer features Teamfight Tactics’ mascot Pengu heading to dragon school and the introduction of a new draconic Little Legend called Choncc. The cinematic showcases the creatures attending classes together and battling in their own PvP games.
In the seventh major update for the strategy game, players will be able to travel to a whimsical archipelago where each island hosts different biomes, critters, dragons, and champions. A series of changes will also be introduced alongside the set, including the new Augment rerolls which can be used once per game and allow prevent Augment options that don’t work with players’ builds.
There are also the dragons of the Dragonlands, which count as two units in a player’s army, have bonus health, are double the cost of other units in their rarity tier, and count for triple their trait bonus. The full list of gameplay and mechanic changes can be found on the Riot Games website.
“Our new trailer showcases the whimsy, teamwork, and strategic outplays players will experience as they venture into Dragonlands,” said Geoff Virtue, executive producer of Teamfight Tactics. “We look forward to welcoming global players to Dragonlands soon and having them master our new dragon-themed updates including gameplay, champions, mechanics, traits, augments, cosmetics, and more.”
