The King of Fighters 15’s newest character is Dolores, and fans got to see her in action in a new gameplay trailer shown during Wednesday’s PlayStation State of Play event. Additionally, SNK announced an open beta for the game that will be held in mid-November.
The open beta will begin Friday, Nov. 19 at 10 p.m. EDT and run until Monday, Nov. 22 at 6:59 a.m. EDT. Fans may choose from one of eight characters (out of 39 on the main roster) in online casual or online room matches, or offline training.
In addition to Dolores, the trailer showed the characters Kyo Kusanagi, Yashiro Nanakase, Iori Yagami, Shun’ei, Chizuru Kagura, Chris, and Shermie. Again, SNK has stated that The King of Fighters 15 will launch with a playable roster of 39.
The King of Fighters 15 launches Feb. 17, 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. It was originally due to launch this year, but the COVID-19 pandemic, and surge in Japan earlier this year, hampered development and forced a delay.
