On the evening of March 14, Scott Hall passed away. The wrestler, known as a member of the nWo in WCW and Razor Ramon in WWE, was 64 years old. This comes after the WWE Hall of Famer was put on life support after complications due to hip surgery and three heart attacks.
Hall’s lifelong friend and former tag team partner Kevin Nash confirmed he was on life support earlier that day, and that his family would be taking him off of life support once their affairs were in order. “Scott’s on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support,” Nash posted on his Instagram. “I’m going to lose the one person on this planet I’ve spent more of my life with than anyone else. My heart is broken and I’m so very f***ing sad. I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him in the present.”
Hall and Nash are legendary performers and trailblazers during the so-called Monday Night Wars when wrestling fandom was at its peak. Hall’s appearance on WCW Nitro was revolutionary at the time, and the ominous message he sent left a shockwave in professional wrestling.
“As we prepare for life without him just remember there goes a great guy you ain’t going to see another one like him again,” Nash continued. “See you down the road, Scott. I couldn’t love a human being any more than I do you.”
Hall and Nash were both inducted into the Hall of Fame for the second time in their careers when the NWO was inducted as a faction in the Class of 2021, along with Hulk Hogan (another two-time Hall of Fame inductee) and X-Pac.
