EA and DICE have released a new trailer for Battlefield 2042 that highlights three additional All-Out Warfare maps that we haven’t seen in action yet.

Based on the gameplay in the trailer, each new map seems very befitting of the Battlefield formula, featuring massive open environments and opportunities to play out a Hollywood movie action fantasy. The official descriptions for each map can be seen below.

  • Renewal — Eastern Desert, Egypt. A giant wall, built to secure rich, man-made agricultural areas, takes center stage on this intense map. Prepare for the extreme conditions, deploy, and secure the access points and massive gates in the wall.
  • Breakaway — Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. Tread carefully on this dynamic map, where oil extraction has turned the freezing area to a strategic hot spot. Take advantage of destructible fuel tanks and silos that create debris fields and permanent fires when destroyed.
  • Discarded — Alang, India. Along a strategic section of India’s west coast, colossal ships stranded on the beach are being stripped for parts. Fight among the hulls of these behemoths while adapting to deadly storms.

Battlefield 2042 has seven All-Out Warfare maps at launch, and more will come later on through the game’s live-service component. The others are Orbital (French Guiana; the one featured in the beta), as well as Hourglass (Qatar), Manifest (Singapore), and Kaleidoscope (South Korea).

The game launches on November 19, though EA Play members can jump in for a trial that begins on November 12, while those who buy the Ultimate or Gold versions of the game can start then as well.

If you’re thinking about picking up Battlefield 2042, you can save $10 on it through a Newegg sale.
