For Honor’s Year 5, Season 4 Frozen Shores has officially launched, bringing with it new content, a battle pass, and a new Holiday-themed event.

In Frozen Shores, For Honor’s factions are recovering from their losses caused by the Tempest, up until mysterious ships show up at the docks. The brand-new launch trailer shows players a glimpse of what to expect, featuring the factions of For Honor as well as the new arrivals who have navigated the Hearthmoor waters.

This season also launches with changes to the River Fort, Gauntlet, and Harbor maps, and for $10, players can purchase a battle pass featuring premium content, such as new battle outfits, ornaments, execution, podium, and effects. Additionally, improvements to the Shinobi will be added to the game and the next planned Testing Grounds will begin on December 30, with the focus on a second pass on the Dominion Game Mode as well as improvements to the Conqueror. Changes for Dominion will include capture speed, renown, and hard points, along with various other UI improvements.

Alongside the Year 5 Season 4 content, the limited-time Frostwind Celebrations event is also now available. In this event, players will be able to progress through a free event pass and gain access to a multitude of rewards such as a new Paired-Emote, a Battle Outfit, an ornament, and an Effect. There will also be weapons available for players to loot.

A later update in the form of Title Update 2 will launch on January 27 and will bring a new hero, along with other content and rewards. On February 17, the Covenant Games will also make a return, allowing play of the Carousel of Horkos game mode, with rewards including a Battle Outfit and an Ornament as well as an Effect. Afterwards, a Throwback event called the Black Prior’s Riposte will also bring back original rewards and weapons on March 3.

For Honor is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
