New NPCs are now on the Fortnite island, including Ember, an elvish woman who absolutely loves fire. Sometimes that means cozying up near the fireplace, or healing using a campfire, and sometimes it just means lighting the entire island ablaze. Her love for fire truly burns. The five-part Fortnite Ember punchcard is now available, and to complete it, you’ll be using fire in a number of ways. Here’s how to earn 150,000 XP with the new Ember quests.

Fortnite Ember Location And Punchcard Quests

As you can expect, you’ll find Ember near a campfire. Specifically, she hangs out on the small hilltop campsite northwest of Corny Crops. If you’re landing there among enemy players, make sure to give yourself enough gliding time to land atop the hill, as running up it afterwards may mean you’re last to greet her and thus first to be eliminated by enemy players who have quickly equipped weapons.

When you talk to her, you’ll kick off her five-part Fire Yoga questline. Here’s the full questline followed by guides on how to complete them all.

  • Destroy a fireplace at Lazy Lake, Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Pleasant Park (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Set structures on fire (10) – 30,000 XP
  • Emote within 5m of a vehicle that’s smoking (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Ignite an opponent with a firefly jar (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Heal from a campfire (15) – 30,000 XP

To destroy a fireplace, you’ll want to head to any of those residential POIs named in the quest. Because you may have just picked up her quest from Ember, your best bet is to go to Pleasant Park and enter the white two-story building on the west side of the POI. Inside on the first floor, you’ll find a fireplace ready to be destroyed.

Here’s where to destroy a fireplace in Fortnite.

To set structures on fire, buy firefly jars from Ember or find them at the bases of many trees across the map. You can usually see their orange glow from several meters away. If you’re still in Pleasant Park, simply throw a jar or two at a building or two. A structure is defined as any piece of buildable material, so each wall, floor, grill, fridge, and so on counts. Therefore, it’ll be quickly completed.

Stay in Pleasant Park and smash up a car until it’s nearly exploded, then emote within 5m of it to complete the fourth challenge. To ignite an opponent with a firefly jar might be a little trickier, but it’s much easier in a team-based mode where players with teammates alive will merely go into a downed state. When you’ve downed them, throw a jar on them and let it burn.

Lastly, you’ll want to heal from a campfire. These are all over the map, but there’s one just north of Pleasant Park by a large boulder, so head there to make it easiest for yourself. If you need to get this one on a subsequent playthrough, your best landing spot is going to be Weeping Woods, which offers several campfires all over the island. Don’t forget to require at least 15 HP first though, or else no healing effect can be applied.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be 150,000 XP closer to topping off your battle pass, just in time for… Fortnite Chapter 3?
