E3 2022 isn’t taking place this year, but numerous companies have stepped up to fill June with press conference-style events promising news, reveals, trailers, and gameplay for a wide variety of upcoming games. We’re about halfway through the festivities at this point, but there are still more events to come, including perhaps the biggest of the bunch: the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, which starts at 10 AM PT today, June 12.

It’s possible more events could still be confirmed–Nintendo has yet to announce its plans for a Direct, which we typically expect to see every June. Sony recently held a State of Play, but that wasn’t focused on its non-VR first-party lineup There’s still time for that to happen, as Capcom and Square Enix have only just recently confirmed that they will host events of their own in the coming days. Here’s the remaining lineup:

  • Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase: June 12, 10 AM PT
  • PC Gaming Show: June 12, 12:30 PM PT
  • Guerrilla Collective 3.5: June 13, 1 PM PT
  • Capcom Showcase: June 13, 3 PM PT
  • Xbox Games Showcase Extended: June 14, 10 AM PT
  • Overwatch 2 Event: June 16, time TBD
  • Final Fantasy VII Celebration: June 16, 3 PM PT

June 12

Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase–which might need a name workshop if the Activision Blizzard deal goes through–will be held on June 12 at 10 AM PT. This event will feature games and announcements from Microsoft’s first-party studios, including Bethesda’s roster, as well as third-party game announcements. It will likely run for about 90 minutes, going off previous presentations, and will be viewable on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok.

Microsoft’s show is part of the Xbox FanFest series, which gives registered users a way to experience virtual and physical events with friends alongside prizes, extra content, and other goodies.

PC Gaming Show

The Future-produced PC Gaming Show returns once again for 2022, with hosts Sean Plott and Mica Burton returning. The show will feature Arma 4, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Immortality, and Victoria 3, along with unannounced games from big names like Klei and 11 bit studios. The show will air immediately after the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, with more than 45 games in total to feature. Expected start times are below.

  • 2:30 PM CT
  • 3:30 PM ET

Thus far, we have several question marks for this year’s summer gaming events. Nintendo and Ubisoft have historically hosted their own presentations–in Ubisoft’s case, it has even hosted two–while Sony has ditched E3 in the past and may have something different planned. In EA’s case, we know there will not be an EA Play 2022 event.

June 13

Capcom Showcase

Capcom is getting in on the publisher showcase action this year, though you shouldn’t expect to actually get new game announcements. Running for about 35 minutes, the Capcom Showcase will be focused on news regarding previously announced Capcom games, which could mean more information on the Resident Evil 4 remake just teased in early June.

Xbox Games Showcase Extended

Just like last year, Microsoft will be holding an extended stream called Xbox Games Showcase Extended after its main showcase. This time, it’s set for a few days later, and it will run for about 90 minutes. During that time, there will be longer looks at games shown during the main showcase along with interviews and brand-new trailers. It’s unlikely to have any huge world premieres, but it will give players a chance to see even more from their most-anticipated games. It will be available on the same YouTube and Twitch channels as the main showcase.
