We don’t technically have an E3 2022 this summer, as the ESA opted to completely cancel both digital and in-person versions of the event. However, that actually doesn’t seem to be changing publishers’ plans very much, as there are still a ton of gaming presentations happening in June. In fact, there might even be more than if E3 had taken place.

So far, we know about big events like the Xbox & Bethesda show as well as the Summer Games Fest show. With all these different events happening independently of E3, however, it could be a little tough to keep track of them all, so we’ve organized every announced not-E3 event into a handy schedule here. As more events are announced, we’ll continue to update this post, and links to past coverage will be added to the bottom.

Guerrilla Collective and Wholesome Direct

Returning this year and featuring exclusive announcements, the Guerrilla Collective stream will take place on Saturday, June 11. These tend to be fairly lengthy streams, as they feature a number of indie games and often include interviews, and the news doesn’t end with that show–immediately afterward, the Wholesome Direct will air with news and trailers from of the lighthearted games on the way. A second Guerrilla Collective event will also air on June 13 at 1 PM PT.

Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase–which might need a name workshop if the Activision Blizzard deal goes through–will be held on June 12 at 10 AM PT. This event will feature games and announcements from Microsoft’s first-party studios, including Bethesda’s roster, as well as third-party game announcements. It will likely run for about 90 minutes, going off previous presentations, and will be viewable on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok.

PC Gaming Show

The Future-produced PC Gaming Show returns once again for 2022, with hosts Sean Plott and Mica Burton returning. The show will feature Arma 4, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Immortality, and Victoria 3, along with unannounced games from big names like Klei and 11 bit studios. The show will air immediately after the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, with more than 45 games in total to feature. Expected start times are below.

Thus far, we have several question marks for this year’s summer gaming events. Nintendo and Ubisoft have historically hosted their own presentations–in Ubisoft’s case, it has even hosted two–while Sony has ditched E3 in the past and may have something different planned. In EA’s case, we know there will not be an EA Play 2022 event.

June 13

Capcom Showcase

Capcom is getting in on the publisher showcase action this year, though you shouldn’t expect to actually get new game announcements. Running for about 35 minutes, the Capcom Showcase will be focused on news regarding previously announced Capcom games, which could mean more information on the Resident Evil 4 remake just teased in early June.

Xbox Games Showcase Extended

Just like last year, Microsoft will be holding an extended stream called Xbox Games Showcase Extended after its main showcase. This time, it’s set for a few days later, and it will run for about 90 minutes. During that time, there will be longer looks at games shown during the main showcase along with interviews and brand-new trailers. It’s unlikely to have any huge world premieres, but it will give players a chance to see even more from their most-anticipated games. It will be available on the same YouTube and Twitch channels as the main showcase.
