Bethesda’s popular RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and the publisher is yet again re-releasing the game through an Anniversary Edition on November 11. The company has now, at long last, revealed how much the game will cost.

In an FAQ, Bethesda revealed the MSRP will be $50 USD. This works out to €54.99, £48, $80 AUD, and 3399 RUB. People who already own the Skyrim Special Edition can upgrade their digital copy for $20 USD, €20, £16, $30 AUD, or 1429 RUB.

The Skyrim Anniversary Edition includes Skyrim Special Edition and all previously released Creation Club content–this adds new quests, modes, armor, and a fishing system.

Bethesda is also releasing a physical version of Skyrim’s Anniversary Edition on PS4 and Xbox One, but pricing was not announced. Additionally, the bundle comes with a disc, but an internet connection is necessary to install the Creation Club content.

The FAQ also has some info on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrades, which will be free. Players can expect “enhanced graphics, faster loading times, and more.”

Finally, all Trophies and Achievements from the Skyrim Special Edition will also be applied to the Anniversary Edition, with one exception. Anyone who upgrades from PS4 to PS5 will have to start over on their Trophies.

November 11 is a very big day for new releases. GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition also releases that day alongside a re-release of the fan favorite Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for Nintendo Switch.

Bethesda continues to support Skyrim so long after release because people keep buying the game. Bethesda’s Todd Howard has said of Skyrim’s longevity, “If you want us to stop releasing it, stop buying it.” The Skyrim flood continues with a Skyrim board game, too.

Bethesda is currently developing a successor, The Elder Scrolls VI, but it’s still some time off. On the more immediate horizon is Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG Starfield, which releases in November 2022.
