In Forza Horizon 5, deciding the best liveries, or vinyls as they’re now called, is no small task. There are hundreds of cars in the game at launch, and even as this story has been written in the early days of the hit game’s launch, there are already thousands of liveries in the game. Thankfully, through a combination of the in-game search options and an affinity for fantasy cars, we’ve determined what we find to be 10 of the best liveries in Forza Horizon 5.

If you want to check out more of the game’s best liveries, there are several ways to do it in Forza Horizon 5. When buying a new car, you’ll be brought to the liveries page automatically before you complete your purchase. There you can browse the top liveries for the vehicle, or search for more based on a number of parameters, including the ability to type in custom keywords, such as “Batman” or “anime”–which seem to be two of the most popular themes, by the way.

You can also browse first by livery using the same search parameters and select which make or even specific model you’d like to see liveries for. In either case, you then favorite liveries, download them, and even browse the Creative Hub of each individual livery designer. If you notice a particular player is behind many of your favorite designs, it may be worth browsing their hub for more, and don’t forget to give them a like to help elevate their hard work.

It’s tough to narrow down the best liveries to just a few, but we’ve settled on these 10 below for now, in what will surely be an evolving list as more brilliant creators join the game and start creating some of the game’s most sought-after designs. Here are our picks for Forza Horizon 5’s best liveries.

Winter Is Coming By M1SFHIT

Do something Martin would never do and take this to the finish line.

Leave your series finale criticisms in the dust with this Game of Thrones-inspired design, shown here sported on the Lamborghini Aventador. Capturing both the white snow of the north and the black robes of those who guard the ice wall, this was clearly made by a fan.

JPark By SwanyPole

Don’t drive into the dinosaur enclosures.

Like life, the Jurassic Park liveries find a way. Each Forza is always full of them, but out of the gate, this classic green with red stripes design is best one. It’s reminiscent of both the original movie and the long-standing arcade game.

Forza Livery By MinusculeTwo833

Mom said it’s my turn with the car.

I suppose we shouldn’t expect a fancy name from a user who let Microsoft pick their Gamertag, but that’s okay. This novelty car concept is instantly recognizable by nearly everyone, who surely knows this classic ride-along toy car look either from parenthood or childhood.

Forsbergs 75 By Eliezer JS

Why punch boulders when you can drive through them?

I can just picture Leon hijacking this one and jumping it off a cliff after narrowly escaping an Umbrella secret mountain laboratory as things blow up behind him. Just like Resident Evil, it walks the line between obviously corny and curiously captivating.

Mystery Machine By DJ Lime

There’s never been a Forza Horizon without a Mystery Machine, but as the series’ visuals improve, livery designers have been able to improve their replicas of the Mystery Inc. gang’s signature wheels. Thus, in Forza Horizon 5, it’s better than ever.

Rainbow By Mullch

Sometimes less is more.

Not everyone wants something flashy, and for the racing fans seeking subtle style, I love this matte black Lambo painted over with light rainbow touches in all the right spots like the rims and along the fender’s blade-like design. It’s the business-casual option.

Pokemon By Gr1mmCr33pers

Baja Truck, I choose you!

Sporting this Pokemon collage on your Toyota Baja Truck will allow you to really catch ’em all–if by “’em all” you mean the Bonus Boards that grant you XP and reduce the cost of fast travel, eventually down to zero. Did your favorite Pokemon make it into the crowded image?

Duracell Battery By misisczek0

Always good to keep some spares in the garage.

I’m not usually one for the branded liveries, but I admit I like the cleverness of turning the electric Porsche Taycan Turbo S into one gigantic Duracell battery. It’s already one of the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5, and now it also gets to boast one of the game’s best designs.

Surf By IsoElukka

Sometimes a car just looks nice without any nostalgia.

This original design is notable for two reasons. First, it’s plastered across the Apollo Intensa Emozione, which comes as part of the Welcome Pack, so you may already own it. But aside from that, it’s also just an incredibly well-made design. If you’ve messed around with the livery designer, you know perfecting that spacing shown in the lines isn’t easy, and this creator nailed it.

Lightning By speedracer5474

Now, how about a Buzz Lightyear spaceship?

Speed? I am speed. I previously gave this car a shoutout as the best muscle car in the game, making it one of the best cars in Forza Horizon 5 overall. But now I’m calling it out again for this picture-perfect replica of Pixar’s four-wheeled hero, Lightning McQueen. It’s maybe not the best Pixar movie (that would be Toy Story), but in Forza, McQueen is awesome.

We have much more to get you acquainted with Forza Horizon 5, including a beginner’s guide, as well as some help with Barn Finds, Player Houses, and which car is best for drifting.
