Forza Horizon 5 is one of the biggest Xbox games of the year, and Playground Games’ latest spin-off could be the best game in the entire Forza series. The new game takes us to Mexico across 11 different biomes, each unique and with altering conditions depending on the season, and art from local Mexican creators gives it a layer of cultural authenticity. You’ll be able to play it very soon with the standard edition, and you can even start playing it now if you bought one of the more expensive versions. Forza Horizon 5 Unlock Time

Forza Horizon 5 is using a “rolling release” model, which means that in countries with more than one time zone, it will release at midnight in your easternmost region. For North America, this means 9 PM PT on November 8, which is midnight ET on November 9.

With game pre-loading on Xbox and PC available now, including for Game Pass members, that means you can play the game the second it unlocks in your region.

Forza Horizon 5 Early Access

For those with the Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 5, the game launches on November 5. This version is $100, but if you have an Xbox Game Pass membership or purchased another edition and want to upgrade, you can do so for $45 (with Game Pass) or $50. In addition to getting access to the game early, you’ll also get access to two future expansions, more cards, and a VIP membership.
